NEWS CHANNEL 13 – TOP TEACHER

Mrs. Phoebe Sitterly, St. Johnsville Central School Social Studies Teacher, has been selected as a News Channel 13 – Educator of the Week, for this 2008-2009 school year. Mrs. Sitterly was nominated for this title based on her dedication, caring, and excellence in the classroom. She was interviewed and taped for broadcast by news reporter, Elaine Houston, earlier this month. This is the first time any teacher from our St. Johnsville Central School District has ever been honored with this recognition. Mrs. Sitterly was one of 13 chosen from about 100 nominees. Congratulations Mrs. Sitterly – you are so deserving of this honor.
